With 8 charging bays, the NITECORE i8 Intelligent Charger is a fast, efficient and universal battery charger. The i8 intelligently distributes power among its 8 slots to maximize performance and charge each slot independently with speeds up to a blazing fast 1500mA per slot. The unit also offers two USB output ports to charge devices like smart phones and tablets, and the slim design allows a minimal footprint on your desktop.
Thanks to the design of red and green indicators, you'll always know the charging status - even from across the room. Green will indicate charging completed and red indicates charging in progress. Built-in safety mechanisms will immediately alert you if the batteries are inserted with polarity reversed or short-circuited. Once this occur, the i8 will stop charging and a red indicator will rapidly blink over the affected slot.
